A new district in the heart of the 20th century belt

In cooperation with the BMA, the City of Brussels launched an assignment for a master plan coupled with an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Area of Regional Importance No. 4 (GGB 4). This Master plan was elaborated by Plusoffice-Arcadis and creates a clear framework for future development.

Today, we are working with Veld., Carton123 architecten and CENTRAL office for architecture and urbanism on a proposal for the design of the new buildings and open spaces in this master plan. A secondary school, a crèche and other facilities are planned, as well as at least five hectares of green open space and additional housing. A new urban district within the 20th century belt.
