Campus Opera finalist for Antwerp monument prize

We had to keep it quiet for a while, but we can finally share the news: Campus Opera has been selected as one of the five finalists for Het Erfgoedjuweel, the urban monument award granted by the City of Antwerp.

Campus Opera is the transformation of a 1950s modernist building located in the historic city centre of Antwerp. Formerly the Provincial Safety Institute, the building was originally designed in 1946 by Marc Appel and Jan Welslau. B-architecten respectfully restored the building, which now serves as an innovative learning hub for KU Leuven students, housing lecture halls, study spaces, and shared facilities for the faculties of Arts and Business & Economics.
