B-City shows the cosmos of B-architecten using a digitally created city view that was used in a 5 channel DVD project and in a A0 billboard.
B-City offers an overview of the 37 completed and not completed projects between 1997 and 2004. The drawing is built from coloured pixels. The animation starts while zoomed in on one single pixel. While zooming out, more of the city becomes visible.
B-City was made for and shown on the retrospectives of B-architecten in the International arts center deSingel in Antwerp and during the Lille 2004 Capitale Culturelle de l’Europe.
