Lieve Park apartments
Collective housing
New development comprising 68 apartments, a retail space, an underground car park, and a garden pavilion, along with the associated landscaping and surrounding infrastructure. The apartments are distributed across three residential buildings, arranged around a shared garden. The retail unit is situated at the corner of the residential block, facing the main road.
The Lieve Park apartments represent the second phase of the Voortman urban development project, located at the edge of the historic city centre of Ghent. The overall project includes, in addition to the apartments and assisted-living flats, a hotel with care facilities connected to the historic Voortman city villa, an office building, and 47 family homes, 18 of which have already been completed.
To the south and west of the project, a large interconnected green open space has been created. This green area, which includes a communal infiltration basin, serves as a connecting park between the Tuin van Kina and the protected park garden of Huis Voortman, which has been made accessible to the public.
The residential development itself comprises 68 apartments and a retail unit, spread across three buildings. Additionally, there is an underground car park, a bicycle storage area, and a communal garden pavilion. The three residential buildings enclose a pleasant, green landscaped garden.
