Redevelopment of the Rodelos sports site in Oudenaarde. Our design focuses on the integration of three strategic networks that together transform the site into a sustainable and future-oriented sports and recreation park.
A blue-green network forms the backbone of our design: a park structure blends harmoniously into the landscape of the Scheldt Valley. Within this natural framework, formal sports fields, buildings and informal recreational zones are interwoven into a cohesive sports and leisure network. There is room for competition and relaxation alike, for all ages. A third, integrated mobility network, ensures smooth and inclusive accessibility, connects all functions and accommodates all pedestrians and cyclists.
With this holistic approach, we focus on clarity, quality, and sustainability. Rodelos will become a vibrant and versatile place where sports, nature, and community come together.
