The MINT project is the first phase of this new quarter and comprises three apartment buildings and two houses on top of an underground car park. In a later phase, 38 homes and another two apartment buildings will complete the district.
A central entrance gives access to the underground car park with a bicycle shed. All homes have a garden shed with room for bicycles as well.
The apartment buildings are strategically located on the access and sight axes in the green inner area of the district, or form the final part at the corners of the district. The dwellings are clustered all around, connected by garden walls that enclose the (semi) private outdoor spaces. The two to four storey volumes offer space for one, two and three bedroom flats and houses.
The buildings are constructed of a light brick with masonry details, concrete elements and colour accents. The next phase will follow this design and facade detailing, with the addition of several brick colours.
